Kirtan Sohila is a composition of Shabads written by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Ram Das Ji & Guru Arjan Dev Ji, expressing one’s pain of separation, as well as blissful union with Ek.
It is a prayer sung by Sikhs while doing the Sukhasan of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, every night before sleeping, and as the final prayer of life recited to accompany one’s departing soul on their journey home into Eternal Bliss.
